Linda Verlouw, founder of Studio LIV, blends passion and colour in her projects, considering interior design as a form of visual art. For one of the apartments located in the 215-meter residential tower known as De Zalmhaven or Zalmhaventoren in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, she chose to use the Gessi Anello collection in the antique brass finish. Each element of this collection is conceived as a jewel, a poem symbolizing a promise. Its lines represent a pure shape and, at the same time, a stylistic innovation that testifies to a physical and emotional connection, resembling a wedding ring. In the most intimate context of her architectural project, the master bedroom, the freestanding can be found next to the bathtub. Anello (Eng. “Ring”) interprets the taste of those who consciously experience contemporary living, seeking moments of well-being dedicated to self-care. The revolution introduced by Gessi in the traditional design of the home and the functional distribution of spaces conceives separate, personal, and customized bathroom environments where the exclusivity of daily rituals finds a place to freely express one's individuality.
