GESSI PINK OCTOBER
After the success achieved in 2023, this year Gessi continues its commitment to the well-being of our extraordinary Women, both in Italy and abroad. In the pink month dedicated to breast cancer awareness, we collaborated with Fondazione Veronesi to reiterate an important message together: health is the most precious project to work on. Last October, we joined forces to offer moments of prevention and awareness.
On October 15th and November 4th, once again the Academy Hall at our headquarters was painted pink to share two days of training and information with two esteemed scientific communicators from the Fondazione Veronesi: Dr. Agnese Collino, Scientific Supervisor, and Dr. Chiara Segré, Head of Scientific Supervision, who shared tips for a healthy lifestyle and how to focus on prevention.

During the meetings, the experts from the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi emphasized the importance of an integrated approach to health, based on the balance between genes, the environment, and individual choices, articulated in three levels of prevention:
Primary prevention, aimed at reducing risk factors through healthy habits such as a balanced diet, physical exercise, proper rest, and vaccinations. Secondary prevention, focused on early diagnosis through regular check-ups to act promptly. Tertiary prevention, focused on follow-up after a diagnosis to improve prognosis.
The importance of recognizing suspicious symptoms in a timely manner was highlighted, and insights were provided on various diseases and the respective diagnostic tests.
The days ended with a Pink Healthy Aperitif, a convivial moment to remind everyone of the importance of a healthy and balanced diet.
MOVEMBER
The “You are the Greatest Project You Will Ever Work On” appointments continue in November and December, this time focusing on men’s health prevention. Movember, created to raise awareness about men’s health, aims to highlight the importance of prevention in the fight against prostate and testicular cancer, while also promoting male psychological well-being.
Once again alongside Fondazione Veronesi, on November 26 and December 16, Gessi will host at Parco Gessi Dr. Agnese Collino, Scientific Supervisor of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, and Dr. Alessandro Vitale, Biologist and science communicator for Fondazione Umberto Veronesi.

As with Pink October, the experts from Fondazione Umberto Veronesi once again emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to health, based on the balance between genetics, environment, and personal choices, and divided into three levels of prevention: primary prevention, aimed at eliminating risk factors through a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, physical activity, proper rest, and vaccinations; secondary prevention, focused on early diagnosis through regular check-ups, to intervene promptly; tertiary prevention, oriented towards continuous monitoring after a diagnosis to improve quality of life and recovery prospects.
Attention is also drawn to the symptoms not to be underestimated, the most common conditions, and the tests essential for an accurate diagnosis.
Thus, Gessi continues with initiatives that place health and self-care at the center, because every member of our team deserves to be supported in their well-being journey.

GESSI EXPANDS IN GATTINARA: A NEW PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS HUB TO CONSOLIDATE SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

As you may have read in the newspapers, we are delighted to announce a new milestone in our company’s growth journey: the acquisition of a 66,000 sqm industrial area in Gattinara. This new space will become an advanced strategic production and logistics hub, supporting our international expansion while simultaneously strengthening our bond with the region that has always inspired us.
The decision to invest in Gattinara reflects our commitment to the community that has always supported us: we believe in the importance of contributing to local development by creating opportunities and valuing the people who work with us and live in this area.

ANOTHER STEP FORWARD FOR OUR COMPANY: THE NEW LOGISTICS HUB IN PRATO SESIA

We are pleased to share another important milestone, marking a significant step forward in our journey of growth and development. The new logistics hub is not just a facility but a strategic point for our territorial development. It embodies our commitment to growing alongside the region, strengthening our presence, and contributing to creating lasting value for the community.
With the opening of this new hub, we aim to achieve optimized shipping processes, improving efficiency and speed in deliveries to meet the demands of an ever-evolving market. The enhanced capacity of the new hub will enable us to become even more agile and competitive while maintaining the high quality of our services.
GESSI AND THE CULTURE OF SUSTAINABILITY
In November, Gessi presented the fourth edition of the Sustainability Book during an exclusive evening dedicated to the culture of sustainability. The event marked an important moment to share our commitment to a responsible future, bringing together representatives from various sectors for a collective dialogue on the values that guide our work.

The evening was enriched by the contributions of two distinguished guests: Roberta Ghilardi, Senior Sustainability Consultant at Deloitte, and Sara Sozzani Maino, Creative Director of the Sozzani Foundation and Creative Advisor at Condé Nast, who offered new perspectives on the role of sustainability as a driver of innovation and creativity.
In line with our philosophy, every detail of the event was carefully crafted to reflect our connection to nature and tradition: from the menu, which highlighted local excellence, to the atmosphere inspired by the colors of the earth. The Sustainability Book is more than just a report; it is a work that authentically tells our journey, blending art, science, and concrete commitment.
This achievement is the result of our collective work, united by a passion for design that respects and enhances the planet. We continue to be ambassadors of a sustainable future, where every choice becomes a piece of our contribution to society and our territory.
