Located in the heart of Frankfurt, a vibrant metropolis in the center of Europe, the first Gekko House opened in 2020. Inspired by a concept of urban design, appealing to a lively and cosmopolitan clientele, it is housed in the lively and trendy neighborhood of Gallus, which in recent years has accommodated high-level offices, shops, and apartments. The 128 rooms spread across six floors of the hotel have been furnished to host both business and leisure travelers, as well as prominent figures from the world of art and entertainment. The stylistic signature of 'urban chic' that Morgen Interiors wanted to impart to the structure combines raw concrete with warm and welcoming accents. The Inciso collection, created by Gessi in collaboration with architect David Rockwell, is the perfect centerpiece for the bathrooms. It conveys both an industrial and decorative inspiration to the living environment where – according to a trend that is increasingly popular today – a large bathtub dominates. Its style extends to the wellness area, where custom versions of the wall-mounted basin mixer and shower have been specifically created according to the specifications of this fascinating project.
