Inaugurated in the late 1700s, Teatro alla Scala in Milan is one of the most prestigious in the world. Since 2020, the restaurant "Il Foyer" has been opened, representing the evolution of the ecogastronomic offering of Marchesino, the famous establishment of chef Gualtiero Marchesi opened in 2008. Open space, light, high-backed red armchairs are some of the elements introduced by Filipino architect Michael Vincent Uy, graduated at the Polytechnic University of Milan, who personally took care of every detail of the interiors. Making extensive use of marbles and red velvets, Uy has succeeded in a project with an incredible spectacular impact that is unparalleled in the Milanese dining scene. The theatricality of the interiors is also found in the bathrooms, designed as dressing rooms. The choice of taps’ design has been oriented towards the Gessi316 collection in a golden finish and in the touchless Sensor Taps version, perfect for accentuating the precious atmosphere in combination with the black marble floors, sanitary ware from the Gessi Goccia collection, and Gessi316 flush plates.
