After last year’s success, the company continues its commitment to supporting women working in the company both in Italy and abroad. This year, in the month internationally dedicated to breast cancer awareness, Gessi collaborates with the Veronesi Foundation to remind everyone how crucial health is. For Gessi, wellness is a lifestyle that blends culture, beauty, and dedication.

During October, Gessi offers its female employees—who make up 45% of the company—the opportunity to participate in educational sessions and undergo breast exams and ultrasounds. The initiative involves women working at the Gessi Park in Serravalle Sesia and at all Gessi locations worldwide.

Following last year’s participation, where 76.12% of women globally and 86.5% of Italian employees attended the screenings, Gessi is collaborating with the Veronesi Foundation for this second edition. A total of 75.8% of participants underwent screenings provided by the company.

The Academy Hall at headquarters will turn pink for two days of training, during which science communicators Agnese Collino and Chiara Segrè will offer an overview of prevention and healthy lifestyle habits. At the end of the sessions, a “Pink Healthy Aperitif” will be offered to promote healthy eating.

The campaign “You Are The Greatest Project You Will Ever Work On” highlights the importance of prevention and wellness. With its philosophy deeply rooted in design and wellbeing, Gessi views awareness-raising as an integral part of its mission of sustainability and commitment to the community and the region.
