On November 27th and 28th, 2024, Gessi was a key player at HIX 2024 in London, an event dedicated to hospitality that celebrated the best in interior design and hotel experiences. Hosted at the Business Design Centre, the event served as a meeting point for architects, designers, and creativity enthusiasts. In this prestigious setting, Gessi presented the Haute Culture Pelle and Ludovica collections, along with Incastri, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.

Haute Culture 2024 was showcased in an immersive space with trunks inspired by travel, which held the creations like precious jewels. The natural tones and butterflies that animated the scene added lightness and sophistication, offering visitors an emotional journey to discover beauty and well-being.

Pelle was one of the most appreciated collections for its combination of material innovation and craftsmanship, inspired by Italian leather goods. The three-dimensional design, reminiscent of leather weaving, and trendy tones like Red Cherry, Black, and Crème enhanced the tactile and aesthetic qualities of the mixers, made lighter and suspended thanks to innovative technologies.

Ludovica, on the other hand, embodied the fusion of goldsmith art and Gessi’s manufacturing mastery. Its pure forms and delicate proportions evoked a celestial aesthetic, enriched by hand-set microcrystals and details crafted with goldsmith precision. The collection highlighted every element, from the mixer to the shower, transforming them into true jewels.

With Incastri, Gessi expanded its vision to the entire bathroom environment. Inspired by Chidori, an ancient Japanese technique of joining, this collection, born from the collaboration with Kengo Kuma, offered mixers, handles, and washbasins with a unique design and innovative materials, inspired by Japanese tradition and Yakisugi craftsmanship, which makes wood water-resistant through carbonization.
