An immersive journey through Italian design, culture, and craftsmanship

From May 12 to July 15, 2026, Gessi will be featured in “Design, Theatre of Excellence”, the major exhibition dedicated to the excellence of Made in Italy, hosted in the historic townhouse of ITA – Italian Trade Agency in New York as part of the Italy on Madison program.

Curated by Paola Navone / OTTO Studio, the project transforms the townhouse spaces into an immersive experience celebrating the value of contemporary Italian craftsmanship through scenographies inspired by the country’s iconic places.

Within this journey, Gessi showcases the Perle collection, an expression of Italian mastery and a design vision combining aesthetic research, craftsmanship, and innovation. Inspired by the pearl, a symbol of purity, rarity, and refinement, the collection interprets material through soft, sculptural forms capable of enhancing tridimensionality, light, and surfaces.

The exhibition brings together more than 180 pieces from around 50 Italian companies in a setting conceived as a true theater of design, where products, materials, and visions become protagonists of a collective narrative dedicated to the excellence of Made in Italy.
