28 March 2015 was an evening of celebration for the Gessi family at the unveiling of Casa Gessi in Singapore. The family, led by Gianluca Gessi, founder and President of Gessi and his father, Umberto Gessi, inaugurated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the official launch of their first concept space in Asia.
The evening witnessed a sea of over 500 friends, partners and exclusive guests who came together from far corners of the world to celebrate the launch of Casa Gessi Singapore. As guests took in the beautiful display of the luxury bathroom and kitchen scene, an endless flow of champagne, canapés and beautiful music complete with a serenading saxophone solo enveloped the evening.
Surrounded by the iconic designs that have shaped Gessi’s reputation as a leader in style and innovation, guests stood enthralled around the showroom’s main feature, an 8-meter high rain shower waterfall against a mosaic of parrots and flora made of coloured marble. The Gessi team of architects, designers and contractors from Vercelli, Italy have worked tirelessly for the past six months to convert the heritage Victorian mansion into an inspirational private wellness space where Gessi’s world of beauty, sophistication, creativity and creations is on full display.
“This will be a one-of-a-kind experience for Singapore. Our unique concept space on Penang Road speaks volumes about the visibility and credibility we have established in Asia. Gessi recognises the high profile of Orchard Road which will attract sophisticated visitors from Singapore and beyond,” says Gianluca Gessi.
Casa Gessi will be open to the public from Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 7pm.
