The World Business Forum is the most important annual event dedicated to business community. It is a high profile convention which deals with real business and management demands in international contexts. It proposes high grade contents and lecturers in order to formulate useful concepts and to offer causes for reflection to be assimilated and applied.
This event has a huge capacity of attraction as it is the only one that draws, in two days, more than 2.000 senior executives from 15 different countries.
This year the World Business Forum has proposed 14 “provocative” speakers. These leaders have written their own rules, challenged consolidated truths and created new paths for the growth of their companies. Among them emerges Eusebio Gualino, CEO of Gessi, a company which has become an international Case History in furniture industry.
Successful role model in Italian business community, Gessi spreads moral and humanistic values, following a philosophy which let the company gain the title of “the Private Wellness Company”.
Its values are promoted by a special Gessi Academy which produces and diffuses culture and which is lead by its own pioneer, Eusebio Gualino.
During his participation at the Forum, Gualino told about the remarkable novelty of this business model, also using provocative but incisive claims like “Or you distinguish or you extinguish”, because if you want to survive you must do something unique, something different, or “A company that doesn’t create profits is useless”.
But Gessi Academy founder put his emphasis also on ethic design and on that moral and social acceptance that a product receives not only as aesthetically agreeable, but mostly because it’s the context in which it’s created and the people who produce it that become important.
