Gessi helps the restoration of the original beauty of Le Tre Grazie

Le Tre Grazie is perhaps the most famous sculptural group worldwide. The original plaster model of the Grazie was created 200 years ago by Antonio Canova, one of art history's most beloved artists, and portrays the daughters of Zeus and the companions of Venus, Aglaia, Euphrosyne and Thalia, respectively symbolizing splendour, joy and prosperity.

In order to celebrate the creation of Eleganza, Gessi has paid homage to this symbol of timeless elegance and ideal beauty by contributing to the expenses required for the exhibition and maintenance of this masterpiece, which had been severely damaged by an explosion during the First World War. Precisely 100 years after suffering this damage, this precious work of Italian art can now once again be admired by the art enthusiasts from all over the world, thanks to innovative technologies.
